Description
The fix
SEO QC Reviewer gives Claude the combined perspective of five senior SEO specialists — running the right systematic checklist for each deliverable type, always outputting prioritised findings by severity
11 deliverable types. 5 reviewer personas. One structured output — Critical Issues, Gaps, Optimisation Opportunities, and a ranked Priority Action List. Paste any SEO deliverable and get a review that doesn’t let anything slip through.
What you get
11 deliverable types. One systematic review framework.
Content & Landing Page QC
Dedicated checklists for blog posts, articles, and conversion pages. Covers intent match, on-page fundamentals, E-E-A-T signals, readability, internal linking, and conversion-SEO alignment — not just keyword placement.
Keyword Research QC
Checks funnel coverage (TOFU/MOFU/BOFU), intent accuracy, data integrity (source, monthly averages vs. spikes), prioritisation logic, and cannibalization risk. Flags keyword lists that are data dumps with no actionable structure.
Technical & Audit QC
Validates technical findings for accuracy, quantification, and business impact. Checks redirect logic (chains, loops, 301 vs. 302), implementation risk, rollback plans, and whether GSC data was used alongside crawler data.
Content Brief QC
Catches the brief mistakes that cause bad content: intent not explicitly defined, no internal linking targets, word count guidance not grounded in SERP data, no differentiation angle. Flags them before the writer ever sees the brief.
Reporting & Strategy QC
Reviews SEO reports for metric sourcing accuracy, narrative quality, and audience fit. Reviews strategy docs for data-backed prioritisation, measurable goals, full channel coverage, and defined success criteria.
Schema, Linking & Tracking QC
Dedicated checklists for structured data implementations, internal linking plans, and analytics setups. Catches missing required schema properties, orphan pages, duplicate event firing, and GA4 configurations missing key conversion events.

Made for
Who gets the most out of this skill
SEO Specialists & Freelancers
QC your own work before it goes to a client. Catch the errors that are invisible when you’re too close to the deliverable — wrong intent, unsupported recommendations, generic audit findings that should be site-specific. Ship cleaner work, fewer revisions.
SEO Team Leads & Agency Directors
Run every deliverable from junior team members through a systematic QC pass before client review. Consistent output quality without spending your own time reviewing every doc. The skill flags what needs fixing and tells the team member exactly what to change.
Content Managers & Writers
Self-QC articles, landing pages, and briefs before they reach the SEO team. Understand exactly what a senior SEO specialist would flag — intent mismatch, thin E-E-A-T, missing internal links — and fix it before review, not after.
In-House SEO & Marketing Teams
When you’re the only SEO on the team, there’s no one to review your work. This skill acts as your senior peer reviewer — catches what you’ve missed, applies frameworks you might not use consistently, and keeps your quality bar high without needing external review.

FAQ
Common questions
Can it review a live page, or does it need pasted content?
Both work. Share a URL and Claude will fetch the page to review. Paste content directly if you want a review of a draft before it goes live — which is the most valuable use case, catching issues before they’re published rather than after.
What if my deliverable doesn’t fit neatly into one of the 11 types?
The skill handles multi-type deliverables — if your submission spans multiple categories (e.g., an audit that includes content recommendations, or a strategy doc with a keyword list embedded), it identifies all relevant types and runs all applicable checklists, merging the findings into one structured output.
Is this the same as the Content Review skill?
No — the Content Review skill specialises in written articles and blog posts. The SEO QC Reviewer covers all 11 SEO deliverable types including technical audits, keyword research, content briefs, schema, analytics setups, reports, and strategy docs. Use Content Review for articles; use SEO QC Reviewer for everything else — or for articles when you want the full five-persona treatment.
How specific are the fix instructions?
Very specific. The skill is trained to never say “improve your meta description” — instead it specifies what’s wrong (too long, missing keyword, no value hook), why it matters, and exactly what to change with an example rewrite where applicable. If it can’t verify something without live site access, it says so explicitly and asks for what it needs.
